Eid Fitri 2013

Assalamua’laikum,

  Eid Fitri is a gift for Muslims who have been fasting on holy month of Ramadhan. Muslims wear their beautiful and new clothes to celebrates that Eid. With a smiling faces, they visit and forgive each other, eating their foods customary dishes like rendang, ketupat, serunding and many more delicious foods.

We in Nur Khalifah Kindy celebrate our Eid Fitri on the first day back to school after the two weeks off and top it with some birthday celebration which falls in the fasting month. The children wore their beautiful baju Melayu and baju kurung to school.  What a beautiful and colorful celebration we have! Look at them! ^_^

Orange Belt in the house !!

Assalamualaikum,

It been a great 3 years since we first introduce Aikido Shidokan to our student. Unlike other self-defense technique available out there, Aikido is a non-aggressive martial art that does not encourage attacking via punching or kicking, but uses the attacker's aggression to defense one selves. It promote balance, sharpen reflect and teaches calmness where children are taught to disable an aggressor without attacking.

Lets take a peek at the latest grading ceremony , where we welcome our very first Junior 5th Kyu (orange belt)  Ahmad Ziyad which was graded by Malaysia's Aikido Shidokan Chief Instructor Sensei Dr Ramlan Ahmad. Belt presentation ceremony was held at school and was presented by Sensei Farid.

Aikido Shidokan Classes are held at school every Thursday, 12pm-1pm. Students who enroll for Aikido lesson at school will be entitle for an additional classes Free Of Charge at Aikido Center Seri Kembangan. For more information please call 019-266 1407 or visit http://www.aikidoshudokan.my/

Every achievement matters. It may takes many forms. It can be the simplest act of getting to school; helping a friend in need; picking up own plates when done; volunteering in any task; giving salam or even saying please and thank you.

And being acknowledge for making a different will definitely reinforces their value and boost their confident in becoming a good khalifah of the future.

Elite Readers Club - certified fluent reader in Bahasa Malaysia and able to read on his own .Criteria : Completed the Nur Khalifah Kindergarten's reading series and able to read story book with text containing both colored and black & white writing. They must also be reading or have completed minimum Book 4 Of NK's English reading series.

Annual Sports Day yeay!

Bissmillahhirahman nilrahim.

It was a great day all around. The weather at Mini Stadium, UNITEN was fantastic, great clear blue skies in the early morning and a bright sunny day as it gets towards the afternoon.

All students from Nur Khalifah Puncak Saujana and Nur Khalifah Prima Saujana were divided into 3 team ; Yellow, Green and Red to foster ukhwah between them. It was refreshing to see how easily they bonded with each other to reach a conman goal.

The day started with student's march in followed by du'ua recitation by Iman Ghazi and pledge by Nurullah. The event was officiated by both Principle by blasting the 3 feet confetti followed by brain gym exercise and respective team cheer.

The games started with the 4 yo event followed by 5 yo games and 6 yo games. There was also 2 games that we combined age group so that on the average every student will participate in 2 to 3 games each. Parents event was up next where we divided them into gender. The very strong fathers participated in 'Tug Of War' meanwhile the very sporting mothers participated in 'Catch Me If You Can'.

The Yellow team was announced as the Champion of 2012 Sports Day. The silver medalist was none other then the Green team and the bronze goes to the Red team.

Our deepest gratitude to all who assisted us especially Aliya's mom and Teacher Miza's mom who help us to borrowed the 'Tarik Tali' , Faiq's mom for making the 'mee hoon', not forgetting all the volunteers, teachers and friends.

A special shout out to our very own ex students better known as NK Kids (Fahim, Fateh, Afiq, Hafdzi, Iman S, N. Iman,Ammar and Fatin) who sprung into action on that day and assisted us.  A place that they know they belong and always welcome .
